Episode One Review

Episode Two Review

I’m doing this weeks episode review slightly different compared to the first two I made in the fact that I won’t be giving an overall of the episode but just my thoughts on the episode!

Episode three continued to have Hiro be unsuccessful in being a pilot and it strengthen the idea of how important it is for the characters to be parasites. It’s what they live for and without it it suggests they are nothing. I think as important as it is to strengthen that idea it’s the episode three mark and I just want to get to the good stuff instead of tip toeing around the idea of Zero Two and Hiro teaming up.

I found much of this episode to be rather repetitive of the last episode. Facts like Hiro was amazing but he lost his ability is still being mentioned over and over again as well as Zero Two is a total loose canon and everyone should steer clear of her. I understood that fact from episode one and I know that they want to emphasis it but I just want things to move on with the story. I found the mission with the other parasites interesting as I got to see some real action and interaction which I enjoyed. I enjoyed how Zero Two finally got into the FRANXX and you got to see her fight and even go full force with her way of fighting and see the impact of her actions. However, her darling once again stayed behind which didn’t surprise me as Zero Two teamed up with Mitsuru which ended badly for him even if he was being cocky about it at first. I hope episode four brings the two together (even if she does badly injure everyone) as I just want the ball to get rolling with Hiro.

Also I still love the robot designs and I still hate the positioning of the girls compared to the guys in the FRANXX.

Hope you’re having a great day!
