Day 8- Favourite Anime Couple
I love anime couples. I love shipping characters together as it’s something I take a stupendous amount of joy over whether it’s canon or not. For the sake of the challenge I will be talking about my favourite canon couple (unfortunately many couples I love don’t actually happen within the anime but within the fandom).
Although I have many favourites in terms of anime couples I have decided to choose Misaki and Usui from Kaichou wa Maid-sama as they have always been a solid favourite of mine.
Their kind of relationship is something I only enjoy in fictional settings as it isn’t something I would ever desire in real life. Their relationship is full of teasing and name calling as Usui is the cool guy who enjoys seeing Misaki get embarrassed. Misaki has quite tsundere like tendencies towards Usui and his teasing so she gets annoyed and confused and lashes out at him because of it. I find this style of relationship really cute with these two and Misaki is often very strong and independent but I love how she gets easily flustered because of Usui. I love how Usui falls for Misaki even though he has a reputation for not really bothering with any girls but she catches his eye. I also love his protectiveness over Misaki as I think it’s sweet to see him get really protective over her. Their relationship takes a while to get anywhere which I enjoy because I like to see them grow closer over time. There is just something so cute and sweet about their relationship that I have always loved.

A Nerdy Perspective 
I’d love a second anime season of this because I kind of felt like they were just starting to find a balance in their relationship when the series ended. More of these two would be appreciated.
