Today’s post is going to be a quick one. First of all I just wanted to say HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! I hope all of you have a wonderful day whether you celebrate the holiday or not. Eat some candy, watch some spooky videos and enjoy the day.

I’ve actually never really celebrated Halloween myself. I never experienced trick or treating or anything simply because it was never done in my family. Halloween wasn’t always a thing in the U.K especially when my parents were growing up but it has become increasingly popular as time has gone by. I think the craze for Halloween in America has really influenced the U.K but man I’d love to be in the States around Halloween time as it always looks so much extra than ours. Nevertheless I have also had a love and fascination for Halloween. I think the concept of the lines between the living and the dead blurring for the night is so cool. I love all the spooky decorations although when I was little apparently I was scared of pumpkins (like Ash from Banana Fish) which I find kind of funny. But overall as the spooky little weirdo that I am, I just think it’s a fun holiday. I hope everyones day is full of spooky goodness! I’ll be spending my Halloween watching Dan and Phil’s spooky week videos.

I also wanted to do a quick update on my blogging shenanigans. My Japan 2018 travel posts are officially over and I’m so sad about that. I’ve loved posting content every day and I’m going to do my best to try and continue to post so regularly. I’ve gotten so used to the routine of posting daily that I’m determined to carry that on for as long as I can. I will be posting more Nerdy Travels posts for my 2017 trip as I have yet to finish talking about all the places I went on my first Japan trip. I think I’ll be home posting those pieces once a week on a Wednesday. I’m hoping to step up my blog game even more now and I’m hoping uni work doesn’t overwhelm me too much whilst I try to make my blog better. I feel that I have been so distant from the blogging community since I started back at uni and for that I cannot apologise enough. I have been so overwhelmed recently with other things in my life that I haven’t had much time to process anything else. I’m hoping now things are beginning to settle down that I can finally get back into a proper routine of reading, liking and commenting on blog posts.
Until next time thanks for reading and I hope you’re having a great day!
