As the title of this post says, I have officially started a YouTube channel!!! This is something I have been wanting to do for a very long time now but I have only recently worked up the courage to actually do it. A combination of nerves, utter self-loathing (which I have been working hard on to stop doing) and knowing how scary the internet and YouTube can be has always stopped me until now.
I’m not sure what finally pushed me to do it other than me saying, ‘screw it, let me try it’ to myself. So, my YouTube channel is currently at the little baby channel stage and I am basically learning as I go along but so far I have had a lot of fun both filming and editing videos. I only have two videos up at the moment which include a welcome to my channel video along with a MCM Comic Con haul. So if you like my nerdy content on here and want to see it in video form or if you’re just curious to see what I look and sound like then I’d love it if you guys would go check on my channel and maybe consider subscribing! I’m hoping to do hauls, reviews and travel vlogs on my channel alongside blogging. You can check out my channel here. You should go for it! It’s taken me a long time to work up the courage but once you make that start it feels really awesome. I’m basically classing it as an extension on my blogging activities 😄

Good luck with the YouTubes! I have a lot of fun with my channel, and I’ve had no real issues with the notorious YouTube community. I think if you’re a small creator, you’ll just naturally attract fairly nice people who want to actually engage with your work rather than be unpleasant, so in some ways I kind of don’t want to grow much beyond where I’m at right now 🙂
